John Worsham: Music
Live Every Moment
(John Worsham)
Life was never meant to be a bed of roses
Truth be known- it’s mostly thorns
Remember one door opens as one closes
Every cloudy day brings a brand new morn
Take a look around you- happy faces everywhere
Can’t you hear the sound of laughter in the air?
Live every moment like it was your last
Live every day like it’s one that’s passed
Life goes by so quickly—racing way too fast
So live every moment like it was your last
No one ever uttered on their death bed,
“Gee, I wish I’d spent more time at work”
They usually think about the words left unsaid
And all of the people that they know they hurt
Take a look around you-children playing in the sun
Can’t you hear the sound of hope in every one?
Live every moment like it was your last
Live every day like it’s one that’s passed
Life goes by so quickly—racing way too fast
So live every moment like it was your last
