John Worsham: Music

It's such a lonely Christmas without you

(John Worsham)

John Worsham
It’s such a lonely Christmas without you
It’s hard to hang the mistletoe alone
The presents sent by mail don’t really seem to tell
How much I really wish you were at home

It’s such a lonely Christmas without you
The decorations stay up on the shelf
I guess I’ll have to wait on you to celebrate
This Christmas that I’m spending by myself

Break:
The snow is clinging to the windows
The smile is fading from my face
Thinking of this lonely Christmas
Without the warmth of your embrace

So since you can’t be with me this Christmas
I’ll have to do my best to just get through
As I try to make believe you’ll be home Christmas Eve
Even though I know it isn’t true

(Break)
Thinking of this lonely Christmas
Without the warmth of your embrace

It’s such a lonely Christmas without you
That’s why there’s only one thing on my list
When the one I’m longing for is walking through the door
And gives me my belated Christmas kiss
And that’s my one and only Christmas wish
